FHE – October 3, 2010

Dinah – played with Rachel, watched conference, life is good

Caleb – school, all is well

Hannah—raking in the money at  Jacob Lake Inn

Bekah—got an blood work, ultra sound and then a hydro scan. Trying to solve what  seems to be a gall bladder problem. Meeting with the surgeon on Tues.  BYU football game. State Fair.  Colors and Peter Cetera concert. (Jeremy—hurt his ankle. wearing a boot. been off work all week. Climbing the walls. The Kick ball team finally won big! We had Dutch Oven Sunday up at Jeremy’s house)

Abby and Steve—had a baby 18 days ago. Elijah Steven Hale  8 lbs, 21” . Now he's 9 lbs 3oz, 22”. He is a nursing champ!

Jacob and Cori—Went to Florida. Blessed Gracie. Cori stayed for an extra week. Benjamin swims, but not in the ocean. Gracie is smiling!  She is 12.5 lbs, 23”.

Sarah—Busy with school. Is present and accounted for. BYU game. Been home from her mission for 6 years.

Mommy and Daddy—State Fair—Mommy, Serger and new sewing machine. So far, made 2 and 1/2 quilts. Daddy-New Little Giant Ladder. BYU game. Bummer year to have season tickets, so far. Applied for Tooele DI store. Saw Pirates of Penzance. Slowly getting scooter road-worthy. All but 1 of  Mommy’s duet students received Superior at Duet Festival.

Caleb—Pres Uchtdorf—PH session—Pride—If we lose ourselves in the service of others, we won’t have time to be self-absorbed.

Jacob—Elder Kearon—PH session—The best way to cross a mine field is to exactly follow the tracks of the vehicle ahead.

Sarah—Elder Bednar—The Holy Ghost. In all we do, we should be striving to bring the Holy Ghost into our life

Abby—Elder Holland—A deeper sense of gratitude for the little things.

Daddy—Following paths, consequences from choices. Pres. Monson, Elder Kearon, Elder Ballard.

Cori—President Monson—MIssionary work—prepare our young men.
